New York City, NY Everyone should go on a vacation to New York sometime before they die. Many people think that New York is the dirtiest in the United States; that may be true however the experience that you get from going will last a life time. I went with my high schools band and I had the best time ever. The experiences that I had were very different and changed my look on the city itself. The Rockefeller Plaza is 70 stories high and I went to the top. Going from the first floor to the 68 floor within 45 seconds was painful. My ears were popping and it hurt. When I got to the top of the building and looked out the window it was snowing. It was snowing at the top but raining at ground level. I thought that was very exciting. The view from the top was amazing, you could see everything. Later that day I hit the streets in Times Square. I went shopping in Forever 21, which by the way had four floors for shopping, I only had made it to the first two floors. After shopping I ate dinner at Planet Hollywood and it was such a good dinner. Waiting in the street for the tour bus to come pick the group up was very stressful. When we got on the bus we headed for the show Stomp and I had a migraine. Stomp was a fantastic show I highly recommend it when you go to New York you should go see the show. It is an awesome way for one to express their selves. Time to check into the hotel at 11:30 p.m. the day was the longest day I have ever had. The rest of the trip went the same as the first day. However I have to say that the Philharmonic Symphony was very interesting and I wish I could play a musical instrument. The rest of the weekend was awesome. I also got to see the Statue of liberty and went to Ellis Island and it was just as I expected, gorgeous. I only wish I could have stayed longer and been able to take all of the history that came along with the island. It was 1:30 a.m. I was finally home from the longest weekend of my life. This trip was by far the best trip I have ever been on. While in New York people see what they want to see and some are weird but others are interesting. If someone wanted to take a trip there I would suggest that you take a week. This trip was one for the books; I suggest it to everyone to do before you die.
